Interview
I had 4 interviews, all 30+ min long. Recruiter, hiring manager, 2 team members, director. Every interview went great. The 2 team members said on the call they hoped I got the position and wanted to work with me. After the last interview, I was told I would hear back by EOD Thursday - which was 4 days after my final interview. Never heard back, so I emailed Thursday at 4 and was told they had a final interview the following morning (????? How were they supposed to decide Thursday EOD then? ) but I was the “top candidate” for the role. Friday morning I got an automated rejection email from the recruiter. It doesn’t take 4 interviews - 4 hours of the interviewee’s time - to decide they aren’t good enough, especially after making them wait 5 days past the final interview just to be rejected. The entire process took over a month and was very disappointing.

Interview
2 phone interviews, 1 case study and a final in-person interview.
You must be well prepared because they do ask marketing specific questions. You must also be familiar with best practices and marketing tools. A good thing to know is if you should send out an email with errors to meet a deadline or hold it off to correct it. That is where I messed up.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked detailed questions regarding email marketing and it's best practices. Also what I enjoyed about marketing. Since this position is email marketing specific, one must be well versed in marketing terms and systems.
The phone screen and the phone interview with the director went well because I was prepared. The case threw me off; asked if I would send an email out with errors. I said I wouldn't which probably cost me the final face to face interview.
