      Social Media Specialist Interview

      20 Jun 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at 6sense in May 2023

      Interview

A recruiter from the company reached out saying that they had reviewed my application and would love to speak with me regarding my work experience and the role. I was so excited to receive that note and immediately scheduled a meeting for the Friday of that week. He pushed the meeting time twice before the day of the call by 30 minutes each time, totaling an hour's delay from the time we had scheduled a call. On the day of the interview, the recruiter cancels the interview 15 minutes before the call, citing family issues and proceeds to tell me that we could fix a new date for the call on the next Monday. I say okay, no problem, please take care of yourself. He proceeds to ghost me on the email I send on Monday. I receive a rejection email 11 days later. Please stop wasting everyone's time if you aren't serious about hiring.

It would require following through on the request for a call that came from the organization's side.
