I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at A-1 Gilbert Answering Service (Beverly Hills, CA) in Jul 2017
Interview
Looking for a better job I found their listing on Craigslist. I e-mailed my resume and after some phone tag set up a day and time to be interviewed.
I thought it went well. I took a standardized test then was interviewed. We discussed my background, experience in call centers, the specifics of the job, pay, benefits and work schedule. I even suggested they should solicit testimonials from satisfied customers to post on the website and add a link to Yelp. At the conclusion it was explained a few more interviews of applicants remained but that by the end of the week either way I would get a call.
When I didn't hear back I waited a few days then tried to follow-up. I left messages repeatedly to no avail. Obviously I wasn't hired. But the frustration is unprompted a promise was made to call. I consider not fulfilling a promise very unprofessional. If prospective employees are treated this way I can only imagine what it is like working there. Job seekers, my advice is look elsewhere.
