Interviewer was not technically-inclined, so interview primarily consisted of talking about the company and possible opportunities. Due to being a defense contractor, the job applied wouldn't necessarily be the role I would end up with. I could work at the job for a few months until another contract opportunity presented itself.
Some questions were made regarding my approach to certain situations, but they were mostly directed towards how I would deal with people after I left military service, i.e. can I "turn off" my military attitude and deal with people on a "normal" level.
Received formal job offer and accepted it. However, lost all contact with the company for two weeks following that. When I was finally able to contact someone, I was told that the job offer was rescinded, with no reason provided. This was after I was highly recommended by the personnel at the location of the job I was applying for and, obviously, after the job offer was extended.
