Question 1
"Quelles sont vos prétentions de salaire pour ce poste" des questions classiques.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALSTOM (Bursa) in Mar 2025
Interview
I reached out to my network to explore potential opportunities, aiming to secure at least an interview. Three weeks later, I was invited for a single technical round—no HR screening. The interviewer had less experience than me, and the questions were surprisingly basic. A week later, they made an offer at just 62% of my requested salary. I declined and negotiated for a better deal, which resulted in a final offer at 66%, with almost no bonus. I initially accepted the offer but fortunately found a better opportunity and decided to withdraw. HR later called me—not to discuss the process, but to express their frustration. Needless to say, the conversation was quite amusing.
