I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment (Duluth, GA) in Dec 2012
Interview
Applied online, got contacted by phone in about 2 weeks or less for an interview. There were about 2 or 3 other people waiting. They gave us a pamphlet for a stubs card(membership card that we have to pitch) to look over it. They take you up and ask you typical questions, and situational, like how you would handle a angry customer or if you have ever been in a long line and how you reacted to it. then you do a role play and you try to sell the stubs card. overall, it was easy mostly if you look over these reviews, that is how i got it.

Question 1
Nothing really just smile a lot and be outgoing, and prepare by looking at these reviews and you'll be good to go.

Interview
Process is fairly easy. If they're interested in your online application, they do a phone screening. If you do well on that one, they call you in to do an interview for the specific theater. Most of the questions are personality based. They do have you have you pitch AMC Stubs just to get a feel of how you'd present it to customers. Not sure why someone said people get hired on the spot as I never came across a crew member that got hired immediately, even if they were short staffed. Typically it takes a couple days before they give you a response.
