I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment (New York, NY) in May 2013
Interview
Applied online. Got a call and pre-screen on the phone a couple of days later. Was asked to come in for an interview. It was NOT a group interview. It was a 1 on 1 with a supervisor and manager. QUestions were basic like everyone outlined below but I emphasize to KNOW the stubs card before hand. Memorize it's perks and you'll love yourself later. Was told to come back for a second interview that wasn't much of an interview. He asked what I think is good customer service and if I go to the movies often. I said a few words and I was called upstairs and told I got the job. I was given a shirt and that was it.

Describe the interview process. The interview process wasn’t bad at all. Typical interview questions. Mainly about availability and shifts. Describe the interview process. The interview process wasn’t bad at all. Typical interview questions. Mainly about availability and shifts.

Interview
Process is fairly easy. If they're interested in your online application, they do a phone screening. If you do well on that one, they call you in to do an interview for the specific theater. Most of the questions are personality based. They do have you have you pitch AMC Stubs just to get a feel of how you'd present it to customers. Not sure why someone said people get hired on the spot as I never came across a crew member that got hired immediately, even if they were short staffed. Typically it takes a couple days before they give you a response.
