Interview
I applied online for a software engineer job.
The job description mentioned a Java Spring Boot position.
The first interview was with HR, and it was a casual discussion during which I made it clear that I was only interested in a Java Spring position and not in other roles like Java EE positions.
The second interview was a technical one with questions about Java and Spring Boot, and I received positive feedback.
After some time, HR reached out to me and offered a third interview for a position that included a tech stack with Java EE. After I declined that position, they arranged a third technical interview for a Java Spring position, in which I again received positive feedback.
Later, HR informed me that the position was filled internally, and they arranged yet another interview for a different project. Although I was informed it was for a Spring Boot position, I realized during the interview that it wasn’t. It was for a custom/client Java framework with a very outdated, legacy tech stack.
Since then, I haven’t received any updates.
Conclusion: Total chaos.
