I contacted the company via email, they quickly responded. I was looking for a freelance-term collaboration, they said they only have a full-time position open.
I say okay, if they're flexible with hybrid or remote work, I'm in. They dismiss the email, and continue to send me an "8-page" document "test" with a 3-day deadline; This long document was basically tasks of proofreading, translation, and copywriting. I reply asking if those tasks are compensated; since they'll clearly take much time and effort, and I've not been interviewed yet, I don't know any details about the job. They reply with "Compensating for a this task is unheard of", and before I get to respectfully reply, they "block me", They actually block my email from their system and it gets bounced. I'm totally okay with being rejected for not being compatible with the company or for whatever reason, but to be "blocked", that's just terrible and unprofessional.

Question 1
They asked me via email if I was only open to freelance or also to full-time work
Comprehensive, enlightening, expedient. I was tested on my field of study and met with veterans of the organization. I found the process a welcome introduction to the organization. I began my employment almost immediately.
