Interview
First, I had a call with a recruiter. It was about 30-40 minutes. It covered the basics: my work history, why I was looking for a new job, frameworks/languages I'm familiar with, education, etc. The call went well. I was then told I would need to complete a coding challenge that had a maximum time of four hours. Kind of long, but I did that. I answered all the questions, but must have missed a test case on two, so my score was much lower than I would have liked, but I naively assumed an actual human being would review and see where I went wrong (I truly believe it was a very minor mistake, as I was passing all test cases provided). Instead, I was ghosted. No recruiter contact, no denial, no nothing. What a waste of a Saturday. Another company that doesn't value developers' time.
