The interview process started promptly at the required time. A single interview, HR was very friendly and immediately asked to know more about my work experience. I gave a very brief insight with experience and turned the conversation around to the job that I was being interviewed for – Telecommunications Account Agent – I asked what the job looks like and what it entails - side note: I did a quick company review search on experience, environment, balance and interview process - The job is an entry-level Sales Associate position titled more glorified. Part of the job is on-site while there is in-field work. On-site would be entry, training, webinars, so I gathered more field work (Door-to-Door Sales - As many have mentioned) would be the majority of the job. Abstract's primary client is Rogers Communication where they help to gain new clients and/or offer deals that are not on the Rogers table. Abstract's guise is working under the Sales & Marketing strategies team. How it works - Rogers provides the leads and Abstract then calls or visits these customers at home. These could be customers that cancelled or are retention-based. Abstract would then offer more customized solutions for what is being called a residential campaign. The word campaign in this sense would mean some form of competition among teams in the field. As stated early, entry-level opportunities would arise if any, however you will have to do the grind first. I thanked her for the interview and said this was not the right fit. The interview was over in 5 minutes.
