Application
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Active Communications International (London, England)
Interview
Interviews was in-person which was a nice change of pace, the interviewer was very nice.
The second stage required completing an activity and explaining how I did each step and why.
I also spoke to some employees about the work environment to give an idea of what it will be like to work there.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Active Communications International (Milwaukee, WI) in Sept 2014
Interview
Initially, I was called by ACI, who found my resume online. I had a brief interview over the phone and was then scheduled for a 1:1 a couple days later. While waiting for the interview, I noticed not a single person was smiling. I also heard a guy, from behind a wall, barking out orders to everyone who was on the phone. Big red flag for me, but went ahead with the interview. I met with a female marketing person who was great. The interview went well. Mostly she filled me in on the job details and asked me very few questions. That afternoon, I got called back to go in for a 2nd interview the following day. The 2nd interview was with the GM. When I saw that the GM was the same person I heard yelling at people the day before I almost walked out but decided to go through with it. Again, not many questions were asked, but more information about the company itself was given.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The GM asked why I was applying for this position since I had so much experience. Apparently he didn't know that they had called me, initially.
