I interviewed at Addepar (Salt Lake City, UT) in Oct 2025
Interview
My interviewer was relatively friendly; however, it took much longer than expected to move to the second-round interview—about 2–3 months instead of the one month I was originally told. Since the role is client-facing, be prepared to discuss your past experience working with customers, handling difficult people, and similar situations.
The process was good, it was very smooth. Two on one interview with technical and behavioral questions. The technical questions included a trial use of the product which was interesting.
5 rounds of interviews, with multiple different team members, including the potential manager. It feel really rushed as they insisted that I interviewed with the next person as soon as possible. The team I talked to was very homogenous, with everyone having almost the same background and many of them have prior worked at the same place. I was not of the same racial background and did not work at that same prior employer, so was concerned about this affecting me.
After the last interview, they ghosted me, even after I followed up a few times to ask for an update. Very disappointing.
