I applied online. I interviewed at Aeris Communications (San Jose, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
After completing the online application that I discovered through LinkedIn, I was contacted via email to set up an interview with the recruiting manager. This process was very simple. They use a software that allows you simply pick a time that works best for you and it then adds the date to your Google calendar once you confirm your date. After this interview, I was contacted within a week that I had been selected to move on to the next round. I then set up an interview with the chief of staff via the same software. After this interview, I was contacted within a week that I been selected as a potential intern. I had one week from that date to accept the internship.
Aeris was a very easy company to work with throughout this process compared to most of the companies I have interned with before. The questions they ask are fair. Make sure you are a very self-aware person, and you will succeed in their interview process. Good luck!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aeris Communications (Florence) in Mar 2017
Interview
I went through two rounds of phone interviews. The first was mainly an introduction of myself and the company. It lasted around 30 minutes. The second one was more in depth, trying to get a better sense of whether or not I had the skills to preform well at the job.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aeris Communications (San Jose, CA) in Feb 2017
Interview
It was one phone interview and one skype interview. It was all behavioral based questions. They wanted to know about past trials and how you overcame those trials. Also they were really impressed with my Research Project (since it offered previous experience with IoT industry). The Interview with the Chief of Staff was very laid back and you can really feel that she cares for you.
