I applied online. I interviewed at Age of Learning in Jan 2026
Interview
The interview process was relatively straight forward: a phone screen, a timed coding task, a hiring manager interview, a more comprehensive data analysis task, and a series of panels. They move through the process very quickly - I was always informed of my progress within a business day of completing each step, and I moved through the whole process within 3 weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
"Pretend you are talking to a product manager about the result of an A/B test where the statistics were X. How would you have that conversation?"
The interview process was fairly extensive, which felt appropriate given the seniority of the role. There were two main tasks, each of which aligned well with the stage of the process and gave a clear sense of what the team was looking to assess. The recruiter provided helpful context around why these tasks were included and how they related to the skills required for the position. Overall, the process was well-structured, expectations were communicated clearly, and next steps were outlined in a timely manner.
