      Implementation Specialist Interview

      14 Feb 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Agiloft

      Interview

I applied via ZipRecruiter and the recruiter contacted me within 2 days with an interview appointment. Despite the recruiter being very kind, It did not feel like an interview at all, I was only asked one question and the rest of the time I could not get a word in because the recruiter had to say her spiel about the company. I was then instructed to complete an aptitude test and if I were to pass the first one (12 questions = 15 min) , I would be given a second one (25 questions = 90 min). Then I would be having two interviews, one with a hiring committee and another one with Michael Ford, the Director of Customer Success. Because I was only asked one question I did not get to express my interest in the company or showcasehow much I had researched it ahead of time but honestly it would have not mattered. The recruiter wanted the aptitude test and there was no need to elaborate on anything until you've passed it. The aptitude test should be called "Math quiz with text problems". There were questions about finding x, speed vs time, geometry, etc. Needless to say, that knowledge has not been tapped into for quite some time. I got 8 out of 12 correct = 67%, yes I know not impressive but not too terrible either. I can only begin to imagine what that 25 question test would have been like, yikes. I was notified within two days that they will not be moving forward with my application. I am disappointed that I did not get a chance to truly interview but I respect the company's interview structure whatever their reasoning might be. Best of luck to you who might be reading this review:)

      Application

      Interview

I was approached by a recruiter for a half hour phone interview. She was knowledgeable about product and knew exactly what kind of resource the company is looking for. We spoke again for check in and update on next steps (which I believe was a very good practice). Then I received two online tests that were very cognitive. Later I was approached by Director Implementation and we discussed my current role and how it can help me in this prospect role and about the company culture. Later I received another hands-on scenario based test that gave me a sense of what the system and client support looks like in Agiloft. After that I was interviewed by Implementation and Project Managers who tested my practical knowledge and asked good questions. It was a lengthy process but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Every one I spoke to during this process had good things to say about company and they were genuine.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Agiloft

      Interview

I had the first interview with a recruiter; it was a 30-minute phone call; the recruiter was a pleasant woman with a high sense of proficiency, she had a benevolent attitude towards me, asked me about my previous experience, and provided me all the necessary information about the company and the position, she informed me about the next steps as well, I was definitely pleased with this interview, Ater that, I took two logical tests, the first one was 15-minute aptitude test, and the second one was a 90-minute logic test, Tests were comprising and compendious, based on logical thinking, I think those tests perfectly aligns with the specifications of this position. The recruiter has informed me immediately that I've passed those tests. The next step was an interview with a manager, who described the implementer's day-to-day responsibilities and informed me about the practical 4 hours long test; the interview process took 30 minutes, the manager was very informative. After the interview, I've passed the practical test, which was seemingly interesting and comprehensive; the final step was an interview with the director, who asked me about my previous experience, my motivations, and expectations and responded to my questions regarding the position; she was highly comprehensive and explained all the details perfectly. After a couple of weeks, I've received an official offer from her. To sum up my interview experience, every step of the interview process was extremely organized and well-maintained; Tests were perfectly suited to the position. I've got a great experience from this process.

      Interview

Phone screen 2 logic IQ type tests 15 min and 90 min Phone interview 4 Html assignment The 2 logic tests were a bit excessive. One test that was 60 mins with 15 questions would be better. The 15 min one didn’t give enough time to go through the test and the 90 min one was too long. All the people were great. The assignment made little sense considering you aren’t supposed to have any domain knowledge and the instructions never define your audience. They failed me based on the assignment, but seemed to otherwise like me.
