I interviewed for the customer success manager role in February of 2022. After 2 interviews, I was asked to do an assignment to test my skills and practice using their software. It took me about 3 hours to complete this task, especially after encountering bugs in the software that I needed assistance with. The next week I got a very generic rejection letter saying that "Though your achievements are interesting, they didn’t exactly line up with what we’re looking for in this particular job and there might have been a more qualified candidate for the role." I'm not really sure why they couldn't have told me this before i spent three hours on their assignment considering they were aware of my skills and achievements after two interviews. I replied to this email with a request for more information as to why I wasn't selected because Ii thought it would be beneficial to my professional development. That was two weeks ago and I have received no response.
