I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AirMap in Mar 2018

Interview

Set up the manager call first, and I was waiting for 15 min and after an hours the HR sent me the mail said the manager was at the other meeting. and then went to their office at Santa Monica for two and half hour The schedule is totally different. The people showed up are totally different that HR gave you. There is a 15 min HR section in the end, but the HR just went to another meeting, and said it cancel. Pretty disrespectful

Question 1

The manager is nice guy but too busy to talk to you too much. But their engineers who test you are the worst I have ever seen, The questions are jump around and did not describe clearly. They just ask how map implement but make it really confusing. The worst thing is: there was an algorithm needs using map. I used C++ map correctly, but one of the interviewer said I used them wrong. And I checked it after I backed home and I am right!!!!
