I found the listing on Ziprecruiter that said the recruiter for the position had an "airgas" email extension. I applied and got an email from someone with an "airliquide" extension and "Air Liquide" in their signature, so I assumed it was a scam. I reached out to the recruiter and, no, apparently that is one of the extensions they use. Weird.
Setting up the interview time and actually talking was fine. However, the job description doesn't really seem to match what the job would actually be like. The description made it sound like a B2B A/R job where you'd form relationships with clients and build a portfolio that way.
However, the job itself sounds like a collections call center where they pay you based on how many and how fast you can close past due invoices. Based on what he said, the clients can be very rude.
The job itself is also listed as hybrid, but the interviewer said that "wasn't guaranteed."
They said they'd get back to me in 2 days, but it took 4. Their rejection email was poorly worded and had coding errors like, "Thank you for considering [not available] , and we wish you the best in your job search."
Overall, just not a good feel/impression of the company.
