Akraya Graphics Software Engineer - GPU interview questions

Recruiter reached out to me from my Monster.com profile. After expressing interest in the position, they immediately asked me for personally identifying information such as my DOB and last 4 of my SSN. There is no legitimate reason to request this information until I am actually being hired, agree to a background check, etc. I will not be continuing the interview process.
