Phone call to ask was I physically able to lift certain weight limit. They asked could I then work certain hours. They main thing they wanted to know was if I could speak Spanish and I told them I could not. They still gave me a chance even though I would not be able to communicate with everyone. It was 90% Spanish speaking jobsite though many spoke English as well. We had sign language hand signs to communicate if a forklift, bulldozer, or the crane was needed. They also let you know that working when it rains is a requirement but they provide all the rain gear needed.
