I applied for the position through Indeed. A human resources representative called me a few days later for a phone interview, she immediately invited me for an in-person interview the next week. She was very friendly and open to answering any questions. After I spoke with her, I met with the hiring manager. She was not friendly at all. She asked me a few questions and showed zero interest in what I was saying. I asked if there were opportunities for advancement in the company (which I ask during every interview) and she became very defensive. Said she wanted someone to be in the position "at least 5 years" and not someone who would be "looking for another position." I'm sorry, but I don't know anyone who wants to work in the same position for the rest of their life. What's wrong with advancement opportunities?
