      Enterprise Improvement Vice President Interview

      7 May 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Boston, MA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at AlixPartners (Boston, MA) in Oct 2019

      Interview

Rather rigorous. Multiple qualification stages before interview, including online battery of personality profiles and IQ test, and telephone psych eval with a company psychologist. Super day is approximately 6 straight hours of back-to-back-to-back interviews, another times IQ test, and a crash business case presentation and interview/defense. Interviews were fairly freeform however, as opposed to strictly scripted.

      Anonymous employee

      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AlixPartners in Sept 2021

      Interview

Very thorough and lengthy interview process. An HR screening, followed by an interview with a Director, then a set of online assessments (personality and reasoning), then a red carpet interview day with case interviews. At every level very detailed questions related to work experience and ability to work in teams.

      Vice President Enterprise Improvement Interview

      16 Jun 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Mountain View, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AlixPartners (Mountain View, CA)

      Interview

They come on campus to do tell about the company, and I liked what they told, even though I was not interested in the company. Later I reached out to one of the speakers and he helped arrange an interview with one of the employees in my area. After finding that I had prior experience in consulting and was mainly interested in entrepreneurship, the representative seemingly lost interest in me, and we continued with my question, from which I got a sense that there is no very unique about the company from the point of view of a regular employee.
