Applied on Indeed and had a solid screening with the recruiter, my background aligned well with the role. The breakdown came afterward. There’s a clear disconnect between the recruiter (offshore) and the hiring manager. Communication stalled for weeks, and each side pointed to the other for delays. No ownership, no clarity, no follow-through.
I withdrew my candidacy, and the next day received a generic “not selected” email. Honestly, probably for the best. If the interview process is this disorganized externally, it raises real concerns about the internal culture.
Alkegen HR needs to tighten up its recruiting process. This experience didn’t reflect a healthy or aligned organization.
