I applied online and was contacted a few days after the closing application date. The phone interview was quite simple. They asked questions such as where you currently work now, how will your skills be suitable for the position you applied for, what do you think you will be doing in this role and what do you know about the role etc. The phone interview went for 10 minutes then I was told if I was successful, they will contact me via email regarding the next process, which is the assessment centre.
The assessment centre was based at their Melbourne office with 10 people in attendance. There were around 7 - 8 team leaders and managers in the room and a learning/training coordinator who led the AC. Firstly they introduced their company and about the role, then we had 10 minutes to answer a few questions given with a scenario and sample claim forms, followed by an extra 10 minutes to discuss as a group to come up with an answer. After that, we had a 1 on 2 interview with 2 team leaders/managers. They mainly asked behavioural questions and past work experience.
The AC was quite nerve wrecking at first, but just be yourself and be honest. They are all super friendly and comfortable to talk with. Very chirpy and playful.
The next day, I received a phone call and was told I made it through to the next round, which was completing a psychometric test and they will be doing reference checks. A few days later, I received another phone call just to give me an update on what has been going on and that they will be sending a letter of offer to me in the mail soon.
