I recently read a blogger that indicated that employees could not bring drinks or cell phones into the workstations. I did ask my interviewer this question to expand on why can't the employee bring beverages with them or let alone cell phones. The interviewer said that there's sensitive information which I understand, but even hospital don't require that. And beverages, I couldn't figure it out. I did say to the interviewer if the hiring manager is planning on "digging their heels into the sand about this when there's no fun
then I am not working in a hostile working environment.
