I applied online. I interviewed at Alma Technologies (OR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Contacted by recruiter a week after applying. Had a typical recruiter screen video interview a few days later. Had an interview with the hiring manager a few days later. Interview consisted of discussion of my background, behavioral questions, and questions about programming concepts. Received a rejection notice a couple days later.

Question 1
What is the difference between the public, private, and protected access modifiers?
I applied to this company in mid-summer with a carefully tailored resume for the post job, along with a personal cover letter, only to be rejected after 14 days. To my surprise, I received another rejection email from the same recruiter, 30 days later. I guess my resume must have really offended her to get rejected twice!
This is probably a tell tale suggestion that the recruiter was either overwhelmed with applicants and needed to clear her inbox or carelessly hit the reject button without proper consideration of the candidate's qualification.
The experience has made it clear how they treat applicants most likely is a sign or indication that I will never seek to reapply or work with this company, either directly or indirectly. I seriously doubt the high praise reviews are real here.
