I interviewed for the Intake Admissions Specialist position almost 3 weeks ago. The interview process consisted of a 20-minute phone screen with a talent acquisition specialist and a 30-minute Teams video interview with a supervisor of the department. I received multiple texts, phone calls, and emails a day after I applied from a talent acquisition specialist requesting to set up a quick pre-screen call to go over the position and my experience. After the pre-screen call, a formal interview was scheduled for the next day. The talent acquisition specialist ended up texting me later that same day to have the interview rescheduled because he didn't realize that the supervisor doing the interviewing was going to be out on PTO. He also included that he was manifesting a good outcome for me with the second interview and wanted me to do wonderful. I will say I've never had a recruiter or a talent acquisition specialist be so persistent and text throughout the whole process. I'd only ever been contacted via email until applying to this company. Some places will ask if you want to opt in to receive texts, but that was not an option here, and I would've never opted in anyway, so their preferred communication may just be via text. When it came to my virtual interview, it was fairly easy and just a couple behavioral questions were asked. During my virtual interview, the interviewer turned off her camera twice and one time said, "hold on, be right back" and was gone for about a minute... I thought that was unusual and unprofessional, but I have to add that she was very kind and pleasant to speak to. It was an extremely laid back and casual interview. I was told that I would hear from them within 3 days because they only had a couple more interviews to do and were making a decision by the end of the week. It's been over 2 weeks now, and I have never heard from them. If I'm told I will hear from them within 3 days, regardless of the outcome, that is exactly what I expect.
