I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Altour
Interview
Quite a strange experience. 2 stage interview process - stage one was a chat with two people going through CV and competency based questions. Only lasted 30 mins and there was no opportunity to ask any questions yourself. There was then a 10 day wait for the second interview, where there were 4 people. The 2 new people kept themselves off camera and didn't really say anything. This was a 15 minute presentation and 15 minute q&a on the presentation. Again the interview was only 30 minutes long and again there was no opportunity to ask a single question about the company, the culture, the role or the team. I've never been in an interview where you have zero opportunity to ask a question! It was clear there was no interest in ensuring that the candidate was the right fit for the company, and the company was the right fit for them. Secondly, having considered the offer I politely declined and never had acknowledgement from either the company or the recruiter. Then about 2 weeks later I had an email asking if I would reconsider pending more flexible working arrangements. I said yes I would love to chat more about this - and yet again didn't ever even have an acknowledgement or any reply to my email. I'm unsure if the communication breakdown was the recruiter or the company but either way that sealed the deal for me that this was not somewhere I wanted to work.

I applied for the technology specialist position online, took 2 weeks. Process was easy and more conversational than an actual interview. I think personality goes a long way at this company.
