Four step (!) interview process for a part-time job. A few weeks after sending my application I was asked to answer interview questions in an essay format. Then I had a phone screening with the hiring manager, followed by an hour long interview with said manager. After that, the same manager (yes, really) interviewed me again along with her subordinates. Finally I met with the president and CEO for the last round. In addition to this lengthy process being overkill for a 25 hr/week position, it was also weird that despite having to answer multiple questions about working in a diverse setting, not a single individual I met with could be considered diverse. In fact, the organization seems to be exclusively white and female. Make of that what you will.
