I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Phoenix, AZ) in Sept 2014
Interview
It was a group interview with about 3 other people. They went around the table asking the same questions to each person. Wear something from the store if you own it because they will ask if you shop at this store. They took us outside to the food court to interview us. I applied in person and told them I wanted to become a stylist. To become a stylist they first have you pick out an outfit for an occasion that they give to you. You must pick out an outfit right then and there and have it reviewed by the employee. Once that was complete she proceeded to tell me that she loved the outfit that was chosen and gave me an application to fill out for seasonal sales associate.
It was a Very quick process. Was Barely an interview. Was pulled outside of the store and just had a casual conversation. Was asked some situational questions as well and was hired on the spot.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at American Eagle Outfitters (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2019
Interview
I went during a hiring fair so it was super quick and easy! Asked like 3 general questions (tell me about yourself, why do you think you will be a good fit, etc) and then 1 situational question (tell me a time you provided good customer service) and then I was hired on the spot. You really just have to be outgoing and energetic and show that you will be a great team player.

Interview
First you have to apply online and then they will call you in for an interview. At the store they took a group of applicants to a separate room and gave us a group interview. The interview took at least 15-25 minutes at most.
