Applied online. After a few weeks, I have received an email asking me to do a retouching test - they liked my retouching skills and I was invited to a round of interviews at the company. I met with the recruiter first, then with two managers and a creative director - with each person separately. They were all very pleasant and easy going. The atmosphere of the interview was very informal, yet they asked all the typical "though" interview questions - weaknesses, previous experience, salary requirements etc. Make sure you dress to reflect the company's brand - do not even attempt to show up in a suit! Unfortunately, I was too business-y for AE. Lesson learned.
