I started at the American Heart Association as a contractor. Despite that, it was still a very long process. Multiple interviews, an interview panel, repeat visits. First, there was a phone screen with HR. Second was a 2 person interview with Program Managers Third was a 4 person panel interview - this included 2 VP's, a Director and the CIO Last was one on one with the reporting Director AHA is very intent on finding people who will fit with their culture. This is a driving factor for them.
