First it was over the phone. Then it was in person, and right after you are able to observe the role you may be taking and ask questions. Just make sure you are well versed in dealing with both animals and people.

I had an initial interview with the hiring manager. She was a little late but the interview went okay. She kept talking about how her team is very picky about who they bring in but couldn’t describe the type of person that would be ideal for the role. So it was hard to respond to that comment appropriately.
