I had an interview here for a law clerk position. It was not a pleasant experience. Chris Andal came across as so full of himself. He told me how much work he had and how successful his firm was. He was so successful he didn’t need to advertise, but he would not pay more than minimum wage. He seemed to acknowledge that was not a competitive rate by saying that after working there, he had lots of friends at bigger firms that would hire anyone who had his firm on their resume. However, he required a one year commitment. It was so strange because he asked almost no questions and spent the whole time talking about himself and his firm’s awards/accomplishments. I had another interview immediately afterward that day for another firm that offered me a position and paid $8-$9 more an hour.
