I applied online. I interviewed at Anderson Equipment (Bridgeville, PA) in Feb 2022
Interview
The owners are very involved and highly educated. Human Resources was great. I took a small cognitive test. Small to medium business with a good business model. Interviews, physical, drug test.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Anderson Equipment
Interview
The interview process was about 4-6 weeks. After the initial phone screen the Generalist mentioned there was no budget set after asking for salary information. From experience this generally indicates the company is fishing for what candidates are willing to accept according to their own skills. I politely declined moving forward until they had a range in mind. Fast forward almost 3 or 4 weeks later I receive a phone call explaining they opted for a specific range for compensation and asked if I wanted to schedule an onsite interview. Upon arriving at the location met with the generalist and a member the executive staff. She after about a half an hour dismisses me time to ask questions toward the end of the interview. When I wouldn't take their personality questionnaire due to ethical conflicts was ghosted to never be called again. There were major red flags during the time I was interviewing. Such as both generalists had zero experience working in HR and was promoted to those positions from coordinators since there was no actual staff in that department. All of the positions have been open for more than 8 months (Accounting Manager, Payroll, HR, Management, etc). Those I observed in the office seemed very stressed out and unhappy. Older and outdated interior, and was told staff wears multiple hats.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Anderson Equipment (Bridgeville, PA)
Interview
Was interviewed multiple times for 5-6 weeks, multiple references were requested of specific job titles only, was not provided information I requested including benefits information and I declined an offer after low compensation was offered. Something did not feel right about the opportunity and saw many small warnings along the way. After declining I discovered the job has been posted for 6+ months and the HR department was completely vacant.
