I was recruited for this role. Interview consisted of a phone screen, interview with hiring manager, very intricate case study, then I believe an additional interview. I completed and submitted their "required" case study (6+ hour of work) and a presentation interview was setup. Due to the time consuming process, I unfortunately couldn't accommodate another hour long interview for about a week and a half. They did push to get the interview on the schedule sooner, but I have a full time job, underwent a surgery, and had already invested hours into the process. In the meantime they extended an offer to someone else who ultimately accepted the day before my next interview. They cancelled about 12 hours before and also have access to all of the work I submitted for the interview.
Overall, it was a positive experience interacting with the team, but cancelling the interview after I completed the project and prepped for the interview was very off-putting. They also have my work now. They asked if they could reach out to me if another position becomes available, but I declined. I would not go through that process again. It honestly was a huge waste of time if I'm being honest.
