      Web Development Summer Interview

      26 Nov 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Angi (New York, NY) in Apr 2018

      Interview

Applied online. The first round of interview was via Skype, an easy HR interview pretty much. Scenario-based questions. Got an email the next day to solve a coding problem at home, not difficult. Completed it and received an email to make an appointment for the second round of interview, a code-pair one. The problem we soved was moderate. I solved 95% of the problem in an hour (remaining 5% was a coding bug). The interviewer did not seem interested from the beginning. Minimal contact. Within half an hour of completing the interview, got the rejection email. I either did pretty bad OR they made up their mind to hire someone else between the time of making an appointment for 2nd interview to the actual interview. No clue.
