I interviewed for the SDR – Inbound role and went through two rounds of discussions. The interview experience itself was professional, and the team members were polite and respectful.
However, a major issue was the lack of clarity around the role. After completing two interview rounds, I was informed that the company was actually hiring for a Senior SDR position, not the SDR – Inbound role I had applied for. This change in role expectations midway led to a mismatch that could have been avoided with better internal alignment earlier in the process.
Such misalignment not only affects candidate experience but also results in wasted time and effort on both sides.
I believe the company has potential, but improving role clarity and internal coordination during hiring would significantly enhance the candidate experience.
Advice to management:
Ensure that role requirements are clearly defined and aligned internally before initiating interviews
3 rounds total. Not too bad all behavioral. Cold call assessment and mock call at the end followed by behavioral.
