The initial interview was a phone call for about an hour and a follow-up interview was had with a panel. The interview wan't too difficult it was more time consuming completing all of the online assessments. My main issue was that, after I completed the panel interview, the owner walked me out and said that he wanted to move forward with hiring and would get in touch in a few days. Days turned into a week so I emailed him inquiring about my online assessments, no response. Another week passed and I sent a quick email to touch base to which the owner responded that remodeling was being done at one location that has been taking all of his time and he would get with me in a few days. I never heard from him again. I have no problem being turned down for a job but it was just very unprofessional to not have any response, especially when I was told I would be moving forward. It was the professional version of ghosting.
