I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Applied Imagination (Peachtree Corners, GA) in Dec 2016
Interview
Applied through their website, was asked to come on site about a week later and interview with their director. Had me take a front-end test and did good enough to warrant a second back-end test.
They passed on me before being able to finish, likely due to my conflicting schedule.
My advice would be to ensure you don't have a conflict of schedule otherwise it feels like you're wasting their time.
Everyone is really friendly, and the director is a very understanding individual. Seemed like it would be a cool place to work, but didn't feel like I had got a good feel of their culture.

Interview
Everyone was pretty laid back. I got to meet a few people including the owner who came in for a few minutes. Questions were less technical and more about processes, general knowledge, and what ifs. There was a coding test where you were asked to make an example application based on requirements.
