It was very professional. I was emailed by HR to set up an interview over the phone. After the initial interview with HR, I was emailed less than a week later (long wait because I interviewed on Friday, and they were closed during the weekend, and I think the manager was on vacation, but this was all explained to me during the interview, so I wasn't sitting around wondering why I wasn't getting a call) to set up a zoom meeting with my potential manager. Shortly after that meeting, I was requested to do a final interview with a potential co-worker to see if I would mesh well. Before the end of every interview, I was explained the next step to expect. They were good about responding when they promised.
