Question 1
Please expand on a time when you've experienced and overcome adversity.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ArborMetrix in Mar 2020
Interview
Was contacted by the company to set up an interview. Everything went well and there was another interview with the team after that. Then radio silence. No communication whatsoever from them regarding the decision process or further steps. I agree with what the user before me said about the company having a University bias as all their employees are UofMichigan graduates and one of the interviewers also mentioned that they were more inclined towards people that are local to the area. I assume I didn't get the job(after 4 weeks of no reply) but I would have appreciated some communication regarding the same. The ghosting really soured the overall experience.

Standard behavioral questions and cultural fit questions
I applied online. I interviewed at ArborMetrix (Ann Arbor, MI)
Interview
Total of three interviews. Last one requires a presentation (like you would in college for a internship) for interviewers to determine problem solving skills. There were a couple red flags for me. Arbormetrix has poorly trained interviewers leading hiring decisions. In the second interview. The main interviewer had a hard time answering questions about business practices and the ultimate goal of team. The other red flag was that over most of their workforce are University of Michigan graduates. Felt as if the organization has alumni bias. This bias will inhibit innovation and growth for them and their stakeholders in the long run.
