I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Asana
Interview
The interview process was very straightforward. I met with the recruiter for a 30-minute phone call, then about a week later I met with the hiring manager for a 30-minute phone call. After these two calls, I was asked to complete a writing assignment showing how I would respond to customers. Moving forward, I met with the recruiter again to go over feedback regarding the writing assignment and the hiring manager's feedback. During this call, I was invited to the last stage of the hiring process, which would be four 30-minute interviews with members of the User Operations team. After these interviews, I was asked to complete a writing assignment where I could write about anything I was passionate about for 15 minutes. Once the writing assignment was done, the hiring manager met with me to see if I had any last questions, let me know what I could expect within the next week, and thanked me for my time. Prior to the last stage of the interview, the recruiter met with me to go over the questions the interviewers would ask me. The recruiter was very communicative with me, providing me with a lot of positive feedback, keeping me up to date on the interview process, and helping answer any questions that I may have. During the interviews, it felt like a very comfortable process. Everyone was kind and understanding in making sure I understood their questions and what I should expect by working at Asana.
