I applied in-person. I interviewed at Associated Packaging (Gallatin, TN)
Interview
People interviewing were pleasant for the most part. Started with small talk and general questions. Technical portion consisted of a couple of simple html questions that were very difficult to answer to the tech persons expectations. Not sure what he wanted (maybe language barrier). included a question on the whiteboard that lacked sufficient instruction and again couldn’t understand exactly what the tech wanted. Language maybe?
Company is using VERY antiquated technology and seem to only give lip service to updating. I would not have accepted if offered. Nice folks though.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Associated Packaging (Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles, CA) in Sept 2012
Interview
Basically you have to get branch manager and Vice President to like you. Doesn't matter if you have any knowledge. They just think they can train you. But also did not explain training.
