BEWARE! Pretty sure they were just fishing for feedback. The Interview was supposed to last 30 minutes, but it went for a full hour. The Recruiter even admitted during the whole process that he was asking me scripted questions "to improve our hiring process." After practicing their whole spiel of how great the company was, I was asked two standard interview questions, which he admitted were completely-optional to answer. Couple of odd things: the Recruiter requested me as a Contact on LinkedIn, and also offered to coach me through the panel interview process, if I got to that point. Left it that they would check on my Security Clearance. When I inquired after almost a week of not hearing anything, the Recruiter said that they were looking for a more-senior-level candidate with more-experience. That begs the question: why did the Recruiter bother interviewing me in the first place? Shows that the Recruiter was haphazardly trying to source candidates and not getting clarification from the Hiring Manager on what exactly is needed from a Candidate.
