I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Aterian (Kraków) in Feb 2021
Interview
Screening Call: An initial conversation, often via phone or video, to discuss the candidate's experience, portfolio, and basic qualifications.
Portfolio Review: The candidate presents their portfolio to highlight their best work, discuss the projects they've worked on, and explain their role in those projects.
Technical Interview: In-depth questions about the candidate's proficiency with 3D software, understanding of design principles, and approach to 3D modeling, texturing, and animation.
Practical Test: Some companies require a practical assignment to see the candidate's skills in action. This could involve creating a specific piece of 3D artwork or solving a design problem.
Team Interview: A meeting with potential team members to assess cultural fit and how well the candidate would work within the team.
Final Interview: A final round with higher management or the creative director to discuss expectations, salary, and potential start dates.
Each step is designed to ensure the candidate not only has the necessary technical skills but also fits well with the company culture and team dynamics.

Make you jump through hoops. It's clear obedience is the #1 skill they're looking for. Not sure what that means about actually working at the place. Overall, very unpleasant experience. Rude behavior, particularly from the HR person.
We are very sorry you had a negative experience. We appreciate the feedback as it's necessary to improve our interview process. Feel free to follow up with HR and we would be happy to address the miscommunication.
