      Applications Engineer Interview

      11 Mar 2009
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Atlas Copco Group in Jun 2008

      Interview

A recruiter found me. It was all done through the phone. The hiring manager used to be an Edison engineer at GE Energy, so he understood what I did and my technical background. Most of the questions were not technical, I presume that if I got that far (resume, background) that technical expertise was not at issue. What was discuss were soft skills, like planning, influencing, project management, passion, etc. I guess they are trying to see if I would be a good fit for the organization.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

      Describe a challenging technical project.
      Answer question
