It started with a 30 minute phone interview with the head of finance. She seemed very professional and friendly as well as very knowledgeable about the company's projects and future direction, despite being in a finance position. About a week later, I was invited to interview with some members of the R&D team. They all seemed very knowledgeable and experienced as well as very professional and pleasant. They also seemed quite flexible about the desired skills and experience desired for that opening. Since they had been so professional, I was expecting to be notified when the decision was made but they did not bother, which was a little disappointing but unfortunately, not uncommon.
