Phone conversation with off-site HR recruiter; phone interview with on-site staff; on-site interview. Technical questions were basic trig and GRE quantitative, not domain specific. Critical questions involved asking what information could be gleaned from time-series plots and histograms. Was asked many technical questions about academic work unrelated to the role, and generic "what was your best work experience" type questions. Three weeks after on-site interview received automated declined offer email and did not receive any feedback on interview from interviewers. Experience with on- and off-site HR staff very positive.
